Construction, Exhibition and Technical Operations Tender update

The Construction, Exhibition and Technical Operations Request for Tender (RFT) - the largest associated with Australia’s participation in the Shanghai World Expo 2010 - produced a competitive field of eight submissions.
Evaluation is underway, and DFAT expects to announce the successful tenderer in mid-September.
The successful tenderer will work with DFAT to refine and execute the Australian pavilion’s striking design and will have significant scope for creative input to develop the exhibition content. The Australian pavilion is expected to attract 7 million visitors over the six months of the expo, which takes place from 1 May to 31 October 2010.
