Cultural Program tender update

The Cultural Program Request for Tender (RFT) closed on 7 October and generated a positive market response.
The aims of the cultural program, to be implemented by the successful tenderer, are to increase awareness of the diversity and talent of Australia's creative arts sector; celebrate the richness of Indigenous arts and culture; help promote Australia's cultural exports, having regard to the role and objectives of the Australia International Cultural Council; and be a powerful drawcard for positive media coverage of Australia, both at the expo and more generally.
Evaluation has commenced, and DFAT expects to announce the successful tenderer in mid- November.
