Significant interest in the design of the Australian pavilion
More than a dozen tenders for the design of the Australian pavilion were received by the Department on 14 May, including two tenders that were submitted in the final moments before the closing time of 2pm. Tender evaluation is now underway and the Department expects to identify a preferred tenderer by late June.
The design of the pavilion and all associated exhibits is a critical component of Australia's participation at the Expo. The level of interest and skill displayed by the tenderers is a testament to the design and architecture capabilities in Australia.
