Staffing, Retail and Operations Tender update

The Staffing, Retail and Operations Request for Tender (RFT) closed on 22 September and generated a good response from the market.
The successful tenderer will recruit, train and manage a team of people who will work at the Australian pavilion, including: pavilion attendants and guides; VIP reception staff; interpreters; chefs and kitchen staff; waiting and hospitality staff for the VIP function area; and staff for the retail, food and beverage outlets.
They will also manage and operate the two retail areas located in the pavilion’s spacious atrium.
Evaluation has commenced, and DFAT expects to announce the successful tenderer in early November.
